Comment: I read the new edition of Irwin's TIPS & TRAPS WHEN NEGOTIATING REAL ESTATE just before making an offer on a condo. I figure the book's ideas saved us at least $8,000 off the price. I'd recommend it to every buyer to read BEFORE you make your offer.
